FCPA - Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended, 15 U.S.C. §§ 78dd-1, et seq. ("FCPA"), was enacted for the purpose of making it unlawful for certain classes of persons and entities to make payments to foreign government officials to assist in obtaining or retaining business (Source - http://www.justice.gov/criminal/fraud/fcpa/ accessed on 15/09/2013). 

In 1978 Kenny International Corp. was fined US$ 50,000 with deferred term of 5 years for supporting a political party leader in unlawful manner in Cook Islands (Pacific Nation).

Currently Walmart is being probed for its practices in Mexico & India......
